The Genius of the Amphora


What to do in Narbonne with children? Or even without children? A treasure hunt, of course!

And here's the story you're going to be the hero of:

 

Just over 2,000 years ago, Kevinus, a young Roman, found a strange amphora which, when opened, let out the genie of the amphora! As in all genie stories, he was offered 3 wishes. After 2 rather average wishes, Kevinus asked to explore the future! Great idea, except when you forget to think about the return!

Run to the tourist office, pick up a Treasure Hunters box, explore Narbonne and save Kévinus!

 

This game is played autonomously in Narbonne's historic center, so good luck!

Audience : Ideal for families or adults.

Hours : November, December and January 10h-17h, from February to October: 10h-18h. Not possible on May 1st, January 1st and Christmas.

The 3 routes follow a fairly similar path. We advise you to choose one or the other, depending on the time you have available and your level.

The Treasure of the Matagot

What to do in Narbonne with kids ? or even without kids ? A treasure hunt, of course !

You wil be the heroe of the following adventure :

 

An old legend tells of the Matagot, a cat witch that wanders the city streets at nightfall. He who takes care of or feeds the Matagot will be favoured and he who harms it will be cursed.

The Narbonne Matagot has set you a challenge: if you find the secret, he’ll offer you a piece of his treasure...

The secret is hidden in the town centre of Narbonne in the south of the France, good luck!

Baby Matagot's first day at wizard school. Unfortunately, he hadn't listened to his teachers when they came to introduce themselves, and now he doesn't know their names.

His friends have decided to leave him clues throughout Narbonne, but as this rascal is grounded, the mission falls to you! Run to the tourist office, pick up a Treasure Hunters box, explore Narbonne and help our little baby Matagot!

This treasure hunt has been specially designed for children from nursery school to year 5/6 Children don't need to be able to read to take part in this hunt.Treasure hunt  available in French only
